UAE Corporate Tax & VAT Deadlines Explained (With a Free Calculator)

Between Corporate Tax registration, return filing, and VAT compliance, the FTA’s rules involve a lot of moving deadlines. Here’s a plain-English breakdown, plus a calculator that works out your own dates.

UAE Corporate Tax is still relatively new, and it layers on top of an already-established VAT system — which means most businesses are juggling two separate deadline calendars with two separate penalty regimes. Below is a quick-reference summary, followed by a calculator that plugs in your own dates. You can also explore our free VAT/sales tax and payroll calculators on the Free Tools page.

Rates and thresholds shown are standard FTA rules as of 2026. The 14%-per-annum late-payment penalty (charged monthly) took effect 14 April 2026 under Cabinet Decision No. 129 of 2025, replacing the previous compounding penalty structure. If a due date falls on a Friday or Saturday (the UAE weekend), it moves to the preceding business day.
